About Us
InsightMRI was founded in 1997 as Insight Neuroimaging Systems LLC. In 2007, InsightMRI was spun off to focus on clinical applications. (Insight Neuroimaging Systems continues to operate and expand.) InsightMRI was founded by MRI applications and radiofrequency electronics specialists and remains a privately held, self funded company. Since that time InsightMRI has been committed to producing innovative imaging products and currently has several products in production and partnerships with several OEM Companies. Insight has 8 patents filed, 5 of which have been granted. The 5000 square foot Insight facility is located in Worcester MA, and contains in house CNC machining and elctro-mechanical production capabilities which are tightly controlled based on a total quality system. The 15 members of the Insight team have capabilities in multiple engineering disciplines and can carry a product from theoretical modeling, through prototyping, and into tightly regulated production and support.
